Change of address

Please keep the Scheme informed if you change your address. If you are a pensioner or a deferred member, the specific downloadable forms can be found here. Please complete, and send back to the Scheme administration. For active members please contact your HR department.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PENSIONERS

Would you please note that all changes to your address or banking details should be advised to us as quickly as possible in writing, with YOUR SIGNATURE authorising the amendment. PLEASE NOTE that we are unable to take down details over the telephone. Any delay in notifying us of these important changes, particularly banking details, may result in the misdirection or temporary suspension of your pension, which we want to avoid if at all possible. To do this, please use the second downloadable form below. Please ensure to add your PAYROLL REFERENCE NUMBER as this will make identification and amendment that much quicker and easier.

Explanation of death benefit

The Scheme provides valuable death benefits for working (‘active’) members and deferred pensioners. Similar benefits are provided for pensioners – but usually only those who have been retired for less than five years.

By making a Nomination you name the person(s) or organisation(s) to which you wish any death benefit to be paid.

Under Scheme rules and pensions legislation a Nomination is not binding on the Trustees. It remains for the Board of Trustees to decide but it will normally take your Nomination into account and follow your wishes.

A Nomination avoids the payment of inheritance tax by the recipient(s) and speeds the settlement of the monies due. Because of this it is very important that you make a Nomination and keep it up to date.

Active members will see their current Nomination every time they receive an annual Benefit Statement. If a Nomination is not shown or it is out of date please complete a Nomination Form (available from HR departments) to Invensys Pensions now. Deferred members may request a pension update at any time. As with active members, the Nomination (or lack of one) will be flagged. Once again, a form to make a new Nomination can be obtained from the website or Invensys Pensions.

Only pensioners retired for LESS THAN FIVE YEARS need to ensure a new Nomination form is completed. Again, forms are available from the website or Invensys Pensions.
